Pre-Construction Services

Nailing the first few parts of your house together is only the tip of the iceberg, as the home building process begins long before actual construction begins.  There are a lot of steps in between the “idea” of building a new home, and physically building the house of your dreams on a piece of land.

We’ll work with you throughout the entire pre-construction process.

While this all might seem like a lot to think about, it’s all part of the job we love to do and that’s what we’re here for!  It’s all just “part of the process” for us and we’ll be there every step of the way. 

Once you give us a call, there’s nothing to do but share your dream with us and enjoy the ride.  We’ll explain everything that needs to happen now, happen later, and do all the hard work required to prepare for construction.

Project Management

We manage every aspect of the project for you.  If it must be done to put a house on your land and it’s within our power, we’ll take care of it.

We manage the entire construction project from beginning to end.

• Scheduling of the entire course of construction.
• Dumpsters and sanitary facilities.
• Hiring and managing all the sub-contractors who will be involved in the project.
• Coordinating with all necessary utility and power companies.
• Coordinating required building inspections and ensuring that you pass them.
• Site Supervision.  We’re consistently ensuring all work is being done properly, with care, adheres to applicable building codes and is in accordance with both our contracts and your specifications.
• Ordering materials and delivering materials.
• Coordinating with your bank or your financial institution as each phase of construction is completed.
• Frequent Job Site Safety Inspections.
• Problem Solving.  Problem solving is absolutely part of the job and arguably one of the most important parts of the job. We are present daily to effectively manage the construction process, prevent complications, perform quality control and maintain an efficient workflow.  

This is a condensed list of everything we will do for you as your builder.  We are home builders and that means we do everything that comes along with it.

Managing the construction phase of any custom home is an enormous task that requires a very high level of diligence, coordination, expertise, and problem-solving.  We are present on site every day doing everything we can to keep your build going smoothly.
